This is a really unique vintage wool skirt suit designed by the American designer Bill Blass. We love vintage Bill Blass pieces and this is a great outfit that can be worn together or as easy to wear separates.

At first glance, this suit looks fairly classic and traditional, but the jacket makes this truly one of a kind! There are geometric pleats along the sides of the hips. This blazer is very tailored and well structured with the use of darts and shoulder pads. The collar is notched and rounded and there are marbled glass button closures down the center front opening.

The skirt is a classic pencil style with double darts along the front and back and a metal zipper down the side seam secured by hook and eye for closure.

This suit was originally sold at Neiman Marcus and has the labels attached at the collar of the jacket. Made in the USA of imported fabrics. 100% Wool and 100% Silk lining. Fully lined. Union made labels in the care label seam.

Labeled size 8 and we estimate this would best fit a modern day 6. But the best way to determine the most accurate fit online is to measure something you own that is in a similar style that fits you well and then compare the measurements to the ones we are providing here.
